The Ticks Open The Beachcomber – VIDEO

WELLFLEET – And so it begins. Well actually, The Ticks are so popular that we can’t actually tell you how it began.

We got to the Beachcomber in plenty of time, but the parking lot was already full. So we had to go to Whitecrest Beach. This was only the beginning of our adventure to see The Ticks play the first song of the summer at The Beachcomber.

It was a dark night, and a mile walk to the Beachcomber. So we took the Funk Bus, a courtesy bus running between Whitecrest and the club. The bus did three runs before it was our turn. That was almost a half hour. Then, when we got to the club, there was a huge line and a one person in, one person out entry policy.  That was another hour of our lives never to return.

But once inside… ah, The Ticks. Bouncy happy joyful music in The Beachcomber, Cape Cod’s version of the happiest place on Earth. Enjoy.

This is called, “Hanging Out With Girls.”
