BARNSTABLE – As the sun was first going down on Thursday evening, there was a line of clouds at the horizon that almost dissuaded me from sticking around Millway Beach. I am glad I stuck around. It turned out to be a heck of a show.
In fact, it was a nice looking at the sunset, where the sky glowed close to red, and it was just as nice looking in the other direction as the long low light made the sky glow pink.
It was a great fall evening with a multitude of colors along the red side of the spectrum.
There are many around here who say that fall is the best season on Cape Cod, and sunsets like this one are a big reason why. More have been ordered and are arriving daily.
