HYANNIS – One recent beautiful afternoon we found ourselves at beautiful Hathaway’s Pond, which was our refuge for the day from the news of the moment.
The big open beach seemingly had one family on it so we steered clear and headed for a walk that went part way around the pond. We found a number of interesting views.
We found a rock painted like a scuba diver’s flag.
We found a lone fisherman on a boat and we found a much more beautiful solitude than the inside of our house or the inside of our head.
