BOURNE – These nights in late July on Cape Cod are spectacular. Recently, we were at the Cape Cod Canal when we ran into a several people fishing. Or rather looking to be fishing.
We watched a lot of waiting.
It would have been boring except, you know, this was at the Cape Cod Canal at sunset on a perfect July evening.
It was anything but boring, but we admit that when the sun set and we had not yet seen a fish landed, we headed out. Theoretically, we could have been the bad luck preventing fishing success. So we hope this evening ended with fish for all.
