The Value Leaders: Theme From “Gunsmoke” – Music VIDEO

PROVINCETOWN – It had been a while since I had seen one of my favorite guitar players, Johnny Spampinato, with his tight band, The Value Leaders.

On Wednesday, they played a free concert on the hill at the Pilgrim Monument. It was great music in a beautiful scene, although the scene can’t quite match the previous years of sunset concerts at Herring Cove Beach, as had been the summer tradition until this year.

The band of Spampinato on guitar and vocals, Sam Wood on drums and vocals, Jay Courneyer on bass and vocals, and Mark Usher on guitar and vocals put on a great show.

They ran through several originals and some very cool covers, including this real blast from the past, the theme from “Gunsmoke”.
