The Real School of Rock; Puffy Elvis in Falmouth – 2-Minute Video

NORTH FALMOUTH – Puffy Elvis taught a class in the School of Rock Friday afternoon at the Beach House, where a packed house came to learn a lesson in classic rock.

The ten-member band known as Puffy Elvis is made up of mostly Falmouth High School employees, Tommy McManamon, the drummer. The band originated when teachers entered a Falmouth High School talent show. “When we were looking for a name, one teacher said, ‘I’ve always wanted to be in a band named Puffy Elvis,’ said McManamon. So we stuck with that.

Here is “Love Potion Number 9,”  a song about geography, math, literature, mythology, morality, and the government as represented by law enforcement within the constraints of a love story. Three pages are due by Monday.
