Slushy Waves Sunset At Kingsbury Beach, Eastham; VIDEO + Slideshow

EASTHAM – When we first arrived at Kingsbury Beach on Saturday just before sunset, we were somewhat perplexed as to why the beach itself, just on the other side of the snow, was moving.

There were waves, as it turned out the “beach” we thought we were looking at was actually thick ocean water turned to slush that was moving in waves.

This video is short and fuzzy in the sunlight, but you get the idea. It was really interesting.

And the beach itself with a thick stripe of snow, glowed in the fading light of day.
