Sacred Mounds, “Coyote Fire” – Music VIDEO

DENNIS – After hearing the Sacred Mounds, we are sort of in shock that we were able to go anywhere on Cape Cod other than the Cape Cod Melody Tent to see this creative duo.

We have been hearing about the Sacred Mounds for quite some time. What we have been hearing was correct. It was, in our opinion, a bit understated.

Hearing lead singer Christoph Eize’s amazing original vocals and watching Luke Massouh’s really cool drumming took us on a raw emotional musical journey that we were not expecting. Yes, this is memorable stuff.

Instead of a large venue, they played at a Cape Cod Wave favorite, the intimate Harvest Gallery Wine Bar. Michael Pearson, owner of the Harvest, described the Sacred Mounds as “psychedelic folk.”

This song, “Coyote Fire,” and this performance of it, is one of the better things we’ve ever seen.
