HATCHVILLE – Hidden in plain view, right off of Sandwich Road, is a 10-acre former dairy farm that has been preserved as the River Bend Conservation Area.
On a day in late April as the moss was glowing in the sun, we found the river bend of the Coonamessett River, as well as a lot of great shadows and new growth. And the moss was like a carpet.
