Provincetown Courtesy Float – Slideshow

Provincetown Courtesy Float
Written by Brian Tarcy

PROVINCETOWN – The thing about Cape Cod, and maybe Provincetown especially, is that there are so many interesting things to see. Often, they are so obvious that you sometimes miss them.

Take, for instance, the Provincetown Courtesy Float, which we surely have seen many times but never before noticed. But recently, we took a look.

Anyway, just off the Macmillan Pier parking lot in the center of town with a view between Fisherman’s Wharf and Macmillan Pier is the Provincetown Courtesy Float.

We found two seagulls keeping a watchful eye on it.

We wandered out, look around, and realized it offers one of the cooler angles to take a photo of the iconic Provincetown Monument.
