Foggy Falmouth Morning – Slideshow

Fog Falmouth February
Written by Brian Tarcy

FALMOUTH – Well, the beauty of Cape Cod keeps changing. This morning, a thick layer of fog settled on Falmouth.

It sure was interesting.

The statue of Katharine Lee Bates has a constant view of Main Street but on this particular morning, with the temperature rising, that view was a shrouded mirage.

There was also nothing to see from Surf Drive Beach, except that what we saw was really cool.

And on it went, past Nobska Lighthouse to Woods Hole, where we ran into another statue, this one of Rachel Carson, who also had a foggy view of things.

Finally, as we arrived at Quissett Harbor, it seemed the fog was finally lifting, making things no less interesting.
