COTUIT – We recently took a rather pleasant hike around Eagle Pond in Cotuit.
Wandering in and out of the woods with lots of views of the pond, the walk was mostly flat and easy. The only obstacles were the tree roots that kept trying to trip us.
It’s about a mile and a half walk.
This classic kettle pond on land once owned by Frederick Otis Barton Jr. was great to look at from all angles around it. We saw a few people but we mostly had the trails to ourselves.
