Dirty Rotten Vipers after Carnival – Music VIDEO

PROVINCETOWN – Perhaps the best music scene on the Cape Cod takes place not inside any venue but on Commercial Street in Provincetown.

It was certainly a possibility last Thursday night after Carnival when nine great musicians, known as the Dirty Rotten Vipers, put on a free show (tips accepted) for anyone walking down the street.

It was high energy fun, and the band had several horns – trombones, trumpets and saxophone – plus a bass, guitar, banjo and xylophone, and Will Harrington on piano and vocals.

The Dirty Rotten Vipers are Harrington on piano; Johanna Rose on bass; Myra Burnette on guitar; Fitzgerald Palmer on banjo; Jimbo Lockhart on drums; Nathan Berry on trumpet; Gregory “Moon” Veals on trombone; Deangelo Nieves on trumpet and saxophone; and Meagan Gillis on trombone and xylophone.

As you can see by this video, if they are playing on the street when you are there, this is not an act to miss.
