FALMOUTH – Well, they did it again. Crooked Coast put on another fantastic all-day music festival, Coast-Fest, at the bandshell on Falmouth Harbor.
While there were several good bands, including a wildly fun performance by Andy Frasco & The U.N., Crooked Coast had home court advantage with this crowd and these appreciative longtime fans were singing along from the beginning of their show, which was the final one of the night.
They delivered, as usual. And by the end, as you will see, they pulled out an old classic of theirs and it was a hometown sing-along full of civic pride in this little town and its hometown band.
I love stuff like this. It sends chills up me to hear a local band play an original song and have so many people singing their lyrics back to them.
There was a lot of love going around on that night in early August on Falmouth Harbor, proving that live outdoor music in the hometown brings people a lot of joy.
