FALMOUTH – I have seen a lot of music over the years, but I have never seen a musician take audience participation to the level that Andy Frasco did on Saturday at Coast-Fest.
It was quite a treat for the town for Crooked Coast to bring in Frasco and his very tight band, The U.N., from Los Angeles. He produced some catchy, fun, funny, and seriously uplifting music that had most of the crowd of about 2,000 on their feet and bopping along.
But there was more, including, as you will see, a celebration of the 20th anniversary of Frasco’s Bar Mitzvah that was highlighted by the “Hava Nagila” circle dance. In Frasco’s version, something close to pure joyous chaos followed. It was awesome.
As Luke Vose of Crooked Coast said while thanking Andy Frasco and the UN during Crooked Coast’s set, it was one of the best shows he’s ever seen in Falmouth.
Come back soon, Andy Frasco. It was epic.
