Late Morning Lecount Hollow Surfers – Slideshow

Lecount Hollow Beach surfers

WELLFLEET – The waves and surfers were putting on a show late Thursday morning at Lecount Hollow Beach.

Due to persnickety, unpredictable Cape Cod traffic, I arrived at the beach later than I had hoped. As I pulled into the parking lot at 11 a.m. a lot of surfers were already packing up and heading on for the day.

The waves were still pretty good when I arrived, and a handful of surfers were still in the water when I took these photographs.

As the next hour wore on, the waves dissipated a bit although there was enough of an occasional swell to make for some good surfing and, as you can see, some pretty cool action shots.
