BOURNE – On Cape Cod, bad weather often leads directly to interesting things to see in nature.
It rained off and on near sunset on Friday at the Cape Cod Canal, and as I drove there I wondered what I would find. It turned out that as the weather cooled a bit, a layer of fog/sea smoke hung over the canal and danced with the wind.
As you can see, it was really interesting to watch.
There were a very few others on the bike path in that weather, and one lone fisherman worked the canal near the Bourne Bridge. All others missed the show.
