Woof Woof Meow: “Wetu” – Music VIDEO

FALMOUTH – A really fun dance band from the Outer Cape called, Woof Woof Meow put on a great free show on the Falmouth Library lawn on Saturday afternoon.

The band came dressed in colorful costumes and they put on a show that matched the energy of their outfits. Mixing funk and rock and jazz, the band had the small crowd energized.

Unfortunately, they came to town the same day as the day-long Coast-Fest, put on by Falmouth favorites, Crooked Coast. So a lot of the potential audience was potentially already at another well-advertised show.

Nevertheless, as you can tell by this song, “Wetu,” Woof Woof Meow was really good.

A quick side, note: This is the second really good band from the Outer Cape that has come to Falmouth this summer. Earlier this summer, the amazing Dirty Rotten Vipers played at Falmouth Marine Park. More of this cultural exchange across Cape Cod please!

Woof Woof Meow’s lineup is Michael Holt on keyboards and vocals, Ken Field on saxophone, Rikki Bates on drums, Trevor Pearson on bass, and Lisa Brown, percussion and backup singer.
