WELLFLEET – This year’s Wellfleet Porchfest featured more than 50 bands playing on 27 different porches and front yards. Although we tried, it was impossible to see them all.
In fact, we saw less than half the acts. The first band we saw was one of our favorites on all of Cape Cod, Sarah Swain & the Oh Boys. While there was a town full of music beckoning us, we stuck around and watched several songs by Sarah and the Oh Boys because they are so good.
After that, we started wandering and trying to get to as much music as we could.
In the above video there is an eclectic mix of folk, rock, traditional and more. The weather was perfect, the music was a treat. We wish we had time to show you all the acts, but this is a pretty good sample.
