MASHPEE – We walked from South Cape Beach State Park along the beach to Mashpee Town Beach and then Dead Neck Trail on a beautiful sunny day, and for a few moments the world’s worries melted away.
There was only this – Cape Cod in all of its summer beauty without any of its summer crowd. Yes, perfect.
And this stretch of sandy shore on Nantucket Sound is magnificent with a seemingly endless beach stretching in either direction.
It’s a true gem.
