ORLEANS – Maybe the difference between solitude and loneliness is simply the view. We wandered alone to Skaket Beach where not a soul was in sight, except for some birds.
It was cold, but not too cold. It was grayish, but not too gray. And it was meditational, seeing the marks of the tide in the sand made us think in awe again of the grandeur of this place we call home.
Solitude at Skaket Beach. Just a small moment in time.
