WOODS HOLE – A glorious way to spend a day as an American is to ride the Shining Sea Bikeway on the Fourth of July. So we did.
Along the way we saw fishermen, a kayaker reading in a cove, and a swan. And then we pulled our bikes into bustling Woods Hole, where the drawbridge was rising and boats were moving.
So we sat for a moment with the statue of Rachel Carson and pondered the wonders of the day.
And then we were thirsty, so we had a drink on the water. Cheers!
