Seagulls In The Sunset; Chatham Fish Pier At Dusk

Written by Brian Tarcy

CHATHAM – We went to the Chatham Fish Pier looking to see the seals and fishing boats, but then we turned around and looked west and found some gold-framed silhouettes of seagulls in the sunset.

We don’t often go to an east-facing beach, or fish pier, looking for a sunset. Those are for sunrises and sunny days. Or so we thought.

And so we learned once again that on Cape Cod, surprises are all around you. Even, sometimes, right behind you.

Oh yeah, we found some seals and fishing boats too.
