Sandwich Boardwalk After A Full Moon

Sandwich Boardwalk After Full Moon
Written by Brian Tarcy

SANDWICH – On first glance, part of the Sandwich Boardwalk appeared to be underwater.

“There was a full moon last night,” said a friendly soul walking by.

The water was so high that there was no Mill Creek or marsh leading to the Beach. There was only water and the boardwalk, which at certain points was about two inches above the water.

The temperature hit over 70 in mid October. It was, indeed, a green grass and high tide kind of Cape Cod day.
