WELLFLEET – In early March with snow on the ground and not a soul in sight, walking on Uncle Tim’s Bridge and then into beautiful Hamblen Park is good for the soul.
This is one of my favorite spots on the Cape and it seemed to beckon me as I was driving on Route 6. And then there I was, as if guided by an invisible force to find this quiet spot in Wellfleet where the hike is always calming.
It is hard to explain why certain spots seem more magnetic than others, but from the first time I saw this bridge and beautiful public park, I was instantly drawn in.
But while it may be difficult to explain it, they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are ten photos that probably do a better job than I ever could.
