DENNIS – One of the great things about Cape Cod is that it not only offers spectacular ocean beaches, but it is also dotted with fresh water ponds.
The hike through the Fresh Pond Conservation Area is a pleasant half-mile trek with beautiful water views.
It is located right off of Route 134, and there is the Cheryl Malone Fresh Pond Dog Park at the beginning.
And then the walk through the woods and past the pond is really nice and quite therapeutic, as all Cape Cod hikes are.
