FALMOUTH – As the blizzard was ending on Monday afternoon, we took a walk through downtown Falmouth and then down to Surf Drive Beach to check out the quiet, beautiful scene.
Almost everything on Main Street was closed. There were a few people walking about, but the town was mostly quiet. The thick blanket of snow made it quieter.
It was piled high, blocking our view of store fronts. And was also artistic, carving waves on a bench by Peg Noonan Park.
And finally, the view at Surf Drive was breathtaking.
