FALMOUTH – Were these ducks in the Great Sippewissett Marsh walking on ice, or swimming through ice? The answer is yes.
At the Great Sippewissett Marsh, just as the snow was starting and folks on Cape Cod roads found driving difficult, we found some ducks that might sympathize with the treacherous conditions.
But they are ducks, so they figured out how to deal with the ice.
And then there they were, walking – marching, really – down the Shining Sea Bikeway towards us.
And we thought, no common animal around here has more fun than ducks.
Well, except for squirrels. Those knuckleheads are hilarious.
