Copilot: “Bang Bang Boogie” – Music VIDEO

FALMOUTH – Here’s to hoping the Harbor Illumination Series at the bandshell on Falmouth Harbor grows into happening thing. Because it should.

Last weekend we attended a free concert by a Boston band, Copilot. The concert was part of the relatively new Harbor Illumination Series.

While the crowd was small, a bit more than 50 people, the fun band with fantastic tight harmonies put on one heck of a show. It started with an incredible, and different, version of The Who’s classic, “Baba O’Reilly.”

Having the nerve to try that song, and also having the nerve to change the arrangement, and then pulling it off was rather impressive.

There were a few vendors there, some we even knew, and a comfortable small group in lawn chairs spread out on the lawn in front of the stage, watching the show.

The weather was pleasant bordering on perfect, and the music was right there with it. Here’s a song, “Bang Bang Boogie,” one of many originals that impressed us.
