CHATHAM – Most times we have visited the Chatham Fish Pier, it has been a bustling place. There are often loads of tourists watching the action of the fishing boats coming and going, and offloading fish. It’s a scene.
But one recent afternoon we were there at low-ish tide and all the boats were at rest. There were only a couple of other people there, taking photos the same as we were.
It was so calm. It looked like we were visiting a postcard of serenity.
Indeed, the flat, glassy water and the lined up fishing boats made for a wonderful moment of zen.
