WELLFLEET – On a beautiful July afternoon, the long waves at Marconi Beach beckoned many surfers, SUP riders, boogie board riders, and body surfers.
Long waves meant the potential for a long ride, and in a couple of different spots, several folks with boards congregated and waited for waves.
The waves beckoned us too because, well, surfers are just fun to watch. So we watched for a couple of hours and shot these photos. It looked crowded to us, but then we ran into a surfer we know, who told us it was more crowded in the morning.
