FALMOUTH – For a short while on Wednesday afternoon, Old Silver Beach disappeared.
An incredibly thick fog blanketed the coast of North Falmouth and West Falmouth, However, the fog seemed to only hover along the coast, as not even a half mile away the sun was shining and the fall foliage was bright.
It was rather fascinating to see Falmouth’s most popular beach engulfed in such a thick fog. There were a few others on the beach taking pictures as well.
And it was impossible to tell what might be going on a few hundred feet away. There could have been a summertime crowd for all I could see.
And then from seemingly nowhere, like an apparition, a runner came out of the fog.
