Bell’s Neck, Harwich – Slideshow

Bell's Neck
Written by Brian Tarcy

HARWICH – It had been a while since I’d been to the Bell’s Neck Conservation Lands, which is one of the best hiking spots on Cape Cod that does not lead to an ocean view.

Walking through woods and past a marsh, especially in the fall with the colors starting to turn, is truly a joy.

I saw a few folks fishing for blue crabs, a runner, and a couple people on bicycles, but it was mostly a solitary peaceful walk.

The 259 acres of the Bell’s Neck Conservation Lands surrounds the West Reservoir, which is fresh water, and the East Reservoir, which is brackish.
