EASTHAM – Lowish tide, artistic lines in the sand and a golden swoop through the sky reflected perfectly off of Cape Cod Bay. This stuff can’t stay secret forever, can it?
How much longer will one be able to find a deserted beach to witness a golden Cape Cod sunset before the calendar turns to tourist season?
This sunset happened on Thursday. No one else saw it. Not from Cole Road Beach. It was ours. And now it is yours.
It is almost April. Soon, everything about the pace of Cape Cod will change. For now, there is a golden light shining down for a few more moments of reflective solitude.
Shh, don’t tell anyone.
