DENNIS – Sometimes, you just have to get as close as you can to the sunrise.
So we climbed the 30-foot-tall Scargo Tower in Dennis Village where the famous view in one direction spans much of the lower Cape, and, in the other direction, the view is all the way to Plymouth.
But we came for a one-on-one with the sunrise.
It has been written in tourist guides that the tower is often crowded at sunrise. But in late November, it was ours alone as the world spun into another day.
