EASTHAM -Behind the Salt Pond Visitors Center on Route 6 is another in-plain-view secret that thousands of people drive by every day. That is what we had always done.
But in between the visitor center and the beach is this beautiful secluded hike along Salt Pond, and Nauset Marsh, with a breathtaking horizon view of the Atlantic Ocean. While others drove by that day, onto something they were sure was better, we found the Nauset Marsh Trail to be the best place on Earth at that particular moment.
Cape Cod is like that.
