CHATHAM – On a recent day at beautiful Harding Beach, we saw a lone windsurfer going back and forth along the beach and it became mesmerizing to watch.
We watched from behind a dune, and we watched from the beach as the green sail danced over the water.
We later found out that the kiteboarder was Luke Hinkle, 57, of Brewster, who has been doing water sports with his wife, Desiree, since 1988 when they purchased their first windsurf boards.
Hinkle said by email that the conditions were “dialed in” on this particular day. He seemed to be dialed in as well.
