TRURO – The sudden contrast was stunning. The sun was strong and the fog was thick all at once on the dunes off of High Head Beach.
The Outer Cape is so interesting. On Sunday afternoon, we wandered out to High Head Beach and spent a couple of hours, mostly in solitude, watching the landscape change almost by the minute.
It was a San Francisco kind of day in Truro. Fog rolled in, fog rolled out. The sun seemed to shine as bright as July, yet the world 100 yards away was barely visible.
Ah, Cape Cod… the most fascinating place on Earth. Says us.
