SANDWICH – One parking lot in Sandwich offers two distinct Cape Cod views, and perhaps a lesson about drawing a line in the sand.
On one side the parking lot is the spectacular Sandwich Boardwalk, which can probably be photographed in 1 million interesting ways.
And on the other side is Town Neck Beach, where it appears the lesson may be it’s not always best to draw a line in the sand, with sand, and dare the ocean to cross it.
While restoring the beach, considering its former rocky condition, seems like a good idea, and the dune restoration looks to be successful, the beach seems to be missing some, um, beach. It happened in a recent storm.
