SANDWICH – Earlier this week on a morning where a storm was just leaving the area, I checked out this sunrise at the east end of the Cape Cod Canal.
It is interesting to be at the Canal just before sunrise as the fishing boats are heading out for the day. And, of course, just watching the sunrise is always magical.
And when I looked out over the water, behind a line of clouds, I saw that the sky was lighting up occasionally with lightning. Near the end of this video, I show a flash of lightening, and then I show the same flash of lightning with slow motion.
And as I was looking out over the water, waiting for the sun to rise, I looked down the beach and saw some clouds glowing pink, extending the show all along the horizon.
