Flax Pond in Nickerson State Park presented ice and water mixed with a blue sky, a frozen brain and numb fingers. When it was delivered to us, it looked like this.
We vaguely recall a bartender recommending a walk at this place after we had already gone to Breakwater Beach…
We are pretty sure the bartender only served us water and really good chowder. Nevertheless, our brains were seeing things that we sort of hoped weren’t real.
