CAPE COD – Another year, another Christmas, another season of joy and sadness, triumph and hardship.
In the days before Christmas, the pulse quickens. So much to accomplish and so little time. Everyone is walking a little quicker. Tempers can flare on a dime. Frustrations mount. That might explain the numerous crashes the other morning in the Mid Cape. The roads were not icy but hearts may have been.
When stresses mount, take a few minutes to take a walk on a local beach, marvel at the displays on a village green, bake cookies for a neighbor and greet a stranger with a smile.
Remember in this season and all throughout the year to practice kindness daily. Extend respect to all and remember those less fortunate.
