BREWSTER – The thing about the bike paths on Cape Cod is that you can pick any random mile or so and find some wonderful sights. And with the turn of the New England seasons, each day is different.
Take, for instance, the Brewster stretch of the Cape Cod Rail Trail between mile marker 6.2 and 7.2.
In early spring, as we wait for the colors of new life to explode, the muted beauty of a misty day in Brewster took us along the bike path, and on a quick detour down Fisherman’s Landing Road to Sheep Pond.
The Cape Cod Rail Trail is a 22-mile bikepath over an old railroad trail, through the towns of Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham and Wellfleet.
In just one mile in Brewster we saw this.
