The Uplifting View From The Province Lands Visitor’s Center

PROVINCETOWN – Sometimes, in order to truly appreciate the beauty of Cape Cod, you need to elevate your perspective. So Tuesday, we climbed the stairs to the observation deck at the Province Lands Visitor’s Center.

Since it does not offer an actual beach like Race Point or Herring Cove, we tended to overlook the Province Lands Visitor’s Center as a place to appreciate the beauty of the Cape. We were wrong to overlook this spectacular overlook of the Province Lands.

Inside the visitor’s center, there is museum-like history and information, friendly helpful staff, and even short movies, along with, of course, plenty of souvenirs.

Outside, there is an amphitheater awaiting activity.

But upstairs, for two levels, is this view, one mile over the Province Lands to the beach.

We were uplifted.
