CHATHAM – Even as the summer temperatures slowly disappear, spectacular Cape Cod beaches and lighthouses from a bygone era beckon. Hardings Beach is long, slightly curved stretch of beach offering a beautiful one-mile walk to what is now a privately owned lighthouse, Stage Harbor Lighthouse.
The Stage Harbor Lighthouse is the newest of Cape Cod’s lighthhouses, built in 1880. The working light has been removed, but you get the idea when you see it. Just another piece of the wonder that is Cape Cod.
