Silent Night On Falmouth Village Green – Slideshow

Silent Night Village Green
Written by Brian Tarcy

FALMOUTH – Before it became a silent night on the Village Green, there was a slow parade of families, folks of all generations together, wandering through the holiday display and laughing all the way.

They did not stay long, for this was surely just a preview of the main event.

There was a cozy gathering to get to, with all that common DNA gathered in one place once again. As the families wandered away, one could almost see the visions of sugarplums dancing and hear what were surely old familiar stories being resurrected.

And then the Village Green was silent, except for an occasional car driving by.

The moon shone through the clouds. There was quiet, almost like sleep – sleep in heavenly peace.
