Sara Leketa & The Problematix in Falmouth – VIDEO

FALMOUTH – Sara Leketa must have been born to be a rock star. On Saturday night, it felt like she was playing at Fenway Park instead of the much cooler Grumpy’s Pub. She put out stadium-sized energy in a pub atmosphere, which was pretty awesome to watch.

This original, “You Left It Up To Me,” kept a dance floor full of people dancing and displayed her songwriting, powerful singing, and charismatic control of a room and the music.

Sara LeketaIn a set filled with mostly dance-floor filled covers, Leketa’s set had interesting twists, but a favorite of ours was her version of “Folsom Prison Blues” by Johnny Cash.

Her tight band, the Problemetix, includes Jason Stupakevich on drums, Jimmie Snider on bass, and Aaron Mayo on guitar.

Apologies for the sound… there were so many people dancing, I shot this video from next to a speaker.
