Santuit River Swans, Flying VIDEO + Slideshow

BARNSTABLE – It’s pretty common to see swans on Cape Cod, but seeing them flying and having a camera ready is another story. But on Thursday at the Santuit River Conservation Area, we saw these two swans take a short flight. And we were ready.

Well, first, we heard it… a loud flapping.

The conservation area is a beautiful, somewhat bug-filled spot with nice trails and a view of several swans.
