Monica Rizzio in Dennis – Music VIDEO

DENNIS – We don’t go to big concerts anymore. Not when we can see Cape Cod musicians in small places. For instance, this is Monica Rizzio performing an original song called, “Best I Can.”

Of course, as with a few Cape bands we know, Rizzio could easily go big at any moment. From what we’ve seen, she’s getting there.

We saw Rizzio at one of our favorite venues, the Harvest Gallery Wine Bar, earlier this week where she played a special show that included bass player Jon Evans, who plays with the likes of Tori Amos and Sarah McLaughlin.

Evans recorded Rizzio’s album, “Washashore Cowgirl,” in his studio in Orleans, and he also plays on it. Also featured in this song from Wednesday night is the sweet guitar of Ben Kushigian.

And the show was extra special as she also brought in Brian Sances to play on several other songs, including a sweet Grateful Dead cover.

It was a big concert, Cape Cod style.
