Out Late with Diana Di Gioia in Dennis – MUSIC VIDEO

DENNIS – What a thrill it is to discover a poetic Cape Cod singer songwriter at a happy event full of cool, like-minded people.

We went to the “Unplugged For Bernie Event” at O’Shea’s Olde Inne because it featured free music by a bunch of, it turned out, great bands on a Sunday afternoon. The event was not a fundraiser, just a gathering.

One of those bands from early in the afternoon was Out Late with Diana Di Gioia, featuring guitarist singer-songwriter Di Gioia, lead guitarist J. Hagenbuckle, and Melody Masi, who usually provides harmonies but is not part of this song, though if you watch the video, she is.

This song is a catchy literary narrative like all of the songs we heard from Out Late. This original by Di Gioia is called, “Every Mother’s Daughter.”

There were several bands at the event, including some who we did not stick around to see. We know for sure one of those bands is great. We have seen The Grab Brothers before.

There is still a story and slideshow coming from this event.

And if anyone from the Trump, Clinton, Cruz or Kasich Cape Cod campaigns are doing anything like this, we’ll be do our best to be there. [email protected]

– If you like Cape Cod music, here is a story that Cape Cod Wave did on the Cape Cod original music scene. We interviewed 20 musicians, four club owners, and two radio deejays – Cape Cod Music And The Joy Of Being Originally Alive

And here is a link to our growing collection of local music stories and videos –  MUSIC
